LOUIE CORPE: PRODUCER

Louie's involvement with the Theatrical Arts began when he was at school in Sydney, Australia. There, he was able to incorporate Atelier Théâtre, a bilingual Theatre Troupe associated with the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA),  specialising in bilingual (French/English) Productions, such as L'Alouette by J. Anouihl, Dom Juan by Molière and Jacques ou la Soumission by Ionesco, performed in Sydney, and, for the latter, Hong Kong also. Since arriving in London, Louie has become an active member of UCL Union's Drama Society, performing in many plays, but also gaining a deeper understanding of Technical Theatre (allowing him to act as Production Manager for many shows). As a Producer, he has been responsible for Blood Wedding by Lorca in the Bloomsbury Theatre, as well as a new, French-Language Theatre adaptation of Diderot's La Religieuse. Louie held the position of President of UCLU Drama Society for the academic year 2009/10.
